What does a mechatronics engineer do?
Mechatronics engineers build mechanical, electrical and electronic components, assemble them to complete systems, install control software, maintain the systems and repair them. They are guided by circuit diagrams and design drawings and carefully check systems prior to commissioning them.

Length of the apprenticeship: 3.5 years
Start of the apprenticeship: September 2022
Vocational school: Villingen-Schwenningen vocational school

These are the academic prerequisites:
GCSE; in addition you should enjoy mathematics and other natural sciences and they should come easy to you.

These personal characteristics impress us:

The job is multi-faceted. Sometimes you work at machines, then you have to focus on wiring a control cabinet and much more. It never gets boring

What does an industrial mechanic do?
Industrial mechanics make parts and assemblies for machines and production plants. They also set them up or convert them. They monitor and optimise production processes and carry out repair and maintenance tasks.

What does a logistics specialist do?
Logistics specialists receive goods, manage them and properly store them. They put together deliveries and route plans, as well as load and ship goods. They also help optimise logistics processes. Without a doubt, it is a future-oriented job, which is why we accepted our first trainee in 2019.

Length of the apprenticeship: 3 years (after the 2nd year you will be a warehouse clerk, at the end of the third year of the apprenticeship you will be a logistics specialist)
Start of the apprenticeship: September 2022
Vocational school: business schools in Donaueschingen

These are the academic prerequisites:
GCSE, good mathematics, German and English skills

What does a business data processing specialist (DH) do?
Business data processing specialists design and develop commercial information and communication systems and they use and maintain them.

What does a digital business manager do?
Digital business managers are needed wherever digital transition projects have to be implemented and expertise in areas such as digital business models, digital economy and change management is needed.

Length of the training/course of study: 3 years
Start of the training: September 2022
Theoretical training: Villingen-Schwenningen Cooperative State University

These are the academic prerequisites:
Secondary school diploma (Abitur); in addition, you should enjoy mathematics and economics and they should come easy to you.

These personal characteristics impress us:
